The series of thematic professional workshops continues within the framework of the “HOUSES to go” project, the aim of which is to transfer practical knowledge and methods supporting the development of country houses, as well as to present modern interpretation options for cultural heritage.
The next professional workshop entitled “From value to experience – visitor experience and guest management in a country house environment” will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 in Ptujska Gora, Slovenia. The event will begin with registration and a reception, followed by a presentation of the workshop program. During the morning professional presentations, participants will gain insight into the role of cultural heritage and the experience relationship, as well as the practical possibilities of country house program development. In the second half of the program, participants will take part in a practical interpretation demonstration at the Starotrška porta, followed by an experience program combined with a tasting of local products. During the afternoon practical workshop, participants will work together to develop interpretive content, exchange experiences and discuss possible directions for improving the visitor experience. Hungarian-Slovenian interpretation is provided during the workshop.
