Cross-border celebration connects Slovenia and Hungary: successful Interreg Cooperation Day 2025

The Interreg Cooperation Day 2025, which celebrated the power of European cross-border cooperation for the fourteenth consecutive year, brought together hundreds of visitors from both countries.

European Commission Launches Call for Proposals to Establish Cross-Border Coordination Points

The European Commission has published a new call for proposals under the BRIDGEforEU Regulation (EU 2025/925), adopted on 7 May 2025. The call, launched in mid-August, aims to establish Cross-Border Coordination Points to address legal and administrative barriers in border regions.

Interreg Slovenia-Hungary at the MOS 2025 Fair – A joint response of Slovenia and Hungary to the deterioration of young people’s dietary and physical activity habits

At the MOS fair in Celje, Friday's program at the exhibition space of the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development (MKRR) was marked by cross-border cooperation. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the concrete results of Interreg programs and experience how cross-border projects contribute to the development of the region and the creation of new opportunities.

New Open Call will be launched this autumn

At its 6th meeting in June 2025, the Monitoring Committee of the Slovenia-Hungary Interreg Programme together with approval of nine new standard projects also decided to close the currently running Open Call for proposals for standard projects and launched new Open call this autumn. The deadline for submission of applications under the new call is expected to be the second half of January 2026.
