Ceremonial Opening of the Headquarters of the Ministry of Local Self-Government, Cohesion and Regional Development in Maribor
On September 28, the Ministry of Local Self-Government, Cohesion and Regional Development officially opened its new headquarters in Maribor. The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, who announced plans to further expand the presence of state institutions outside of Ljubljana.

On Saturday, 5 September 2026, partnership of KeepItDark project concluded the Bright Side of Night festival with an evening of stargazing in Budinci. Guided by Bojan Jandrašič, we explored the mysteries of the universe and discovered the importance of preserving dark night skies.

As part of the KeepItDark project, parter of the project Goričko Nature Park Public Institute expanded the open days of the exhibition PreŽiveti z netopirji (Living with Bats) for the first time this year. From May to early September, we welcomed 265 visitors, including 161 during the additional Saturday openings.
