7th Monitoring Committee Meeting Highlights the Value of Cross-Border Cooperation
The 7th Monitoring Committee (MC) Meeting of the Interreg Programme Slovenia–Hungary 2021–2027 took place on 9–10 June 2026 in Banovci, Slovenia, bringing together representatives of the participating countries and programme bodies to review progress and make important decisions regarding the future development of cross-border cooperation in the Slovenian–Hungarian border region.
Bazaar of Good Stories of Europe in Koper
On this year’s Europe Day, 9 May 2026, Koper will host the Bazaar of Good Stories of Europe – a showcase event of successful projects co-financed by the European Union. The event is organised by the Ministry for Cohesion and Regional Development in cooperation with Europe Direct Koper – Capodistria. As many as 34 projects will present their success stories across 16 stands.

ICDM Cycling Destination Management Model Completed
The ICDM project has completed a sustainable cycling destination management model for the Slovenia–Hungary border region. The common framework supports coordinated, long-term cooperation between the region’s cycling trails, service providers and tourism stakeholders.
