Biodiversity-friendly products and gardens for preservation and strengthening of biodiversity and natural environment of the cross-border area

For communities, farmers, and stakeholders in the Slovenian–Hungarian border region,
who need effective, sustainable ways to protect biodiversity while supporting local livelihoods,
we offer a sustainable approach to the conservation, use, and sustainable management of native or traditional plants, which includes pilot activities such as creating biodiversity-friendly gardens, sustainable supply chains, and biodiversity-friendly products based on indigenous plants and traditions.
With our help, they can restore native habitats, launch biodiversity-friendly businesses, strengthen ecological connectivity, and adopt more sustainable lifestyles.
Our solution is better than isolated conservation or purely commercial farming, as it creates real synergy between biodiversity protection, sustainable use of native plants, and local entrepreneurship
because it combines cross-border knowledge, hands-on demonstration gardens, and local entrepreneurship to protect biodiversity, boost resilience, and create lasting economic and ecological benefits, while seeking a balance between biodiversity conservation, practical measures for the sustainable use of indigenous and traditional plants, and the economic value of biodiversity-friendly products.
