Elevation of Craft Heritage for Sustainable Tourism in the Cross-Border Region of Slovenia and Hungary

For local craftsmen, tourism providers, communities, and regional stakeholders in the cross-border area,
who need practical new ways to preserve traditional skills, engage younger generations, and turn cultural heritage into sustainable economic opportunities,
we implement a cross-border initiative that supports craftspeople in modernising handcraft heritage and integrating it into sustainable tourism products.
With our help, they can transfer traditional knowledge, connect craftsmanship with contemporary design, strengthen cross-border cooperation, and create attractive, authentic tourism experiences rooted in local identity.
Our solution is better than stand-alone heritage or tourism initiatives
because it unites tradition and innovation, culture and economy, and cross-border collaboration into one unified, sustainable model that benefits both local communities and visitors.
