Culture and Wine: Cross-border Connection of Cultural Heritage and Wine Traditions into Innovative, Sustainable Tourist Experiences

For local communities, winemakers, cultural actors, tourism providers and visitors in the Slovenia–Hungary border region
who need new ways to make wine-cultural tourism more sustainable, visible, and attractive beyond peak seasons,
we develop and implement a cross-border initiative that connects shared wine and cultural heritage into thematic routes, sustainable events, and innovative digital tools.
With our help, they can reduce seasonality, discover lesser-known rural areas, co-create authentic wine-cultural experiences, engage visitors through festivals, and strengthen collaboration between tourism, culture, and local producers.
Our solution is better than traditional wine tourism initiatives
because it combines cultural heritage, sustainability, and digital innovation into a transferable cross-border model—strengthening cross-border cooperation, extending the tourism season, and boosting regional competitiveness.
