GUČIMO: Preservation and Promotion of the Dialectal Cultural Heritage of Prekmurje and Porabje

For local communities, young people, cultural institutions, and visitors in the Prekmurje–Porabje border region
who need new, engaging ways to preserve dialectal heritage and transform it into a living cultural and tourism asset,
we implement a cross-border initiative that revitalizes the Prekmurje and Porabje dialects through digital tools, education, and sustainable cultural tourism products.
With our help, they can strengthen local identity, involve younger generations, and experience dialects through interactive trails, audio content, exhibitions, and language-based activities.
Our solution is better than traditional heritage preservation approaches
because it combines cross-border cooperation, digital innovation, and tourism to keep dialects alive and sustainable.
