Establishment of a supportive environment for the introduction of circular economy principles and measures in production processes of local food producers in Pomurje and Vas County

For food producers and processors in Pomurje and Vas County,
who need practical knowledge, tools, and support to transition toward a more sustainable and circular food economy,
we develop a cross-border supportive environment that includes mapping regional potentials, providing hands-on training through a mobile living lab, and implementing a pilot model for the reuse of food by-products and surplus materials.
With our help, local stakeholders can improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, adopt circular production models, and build long-term skills through customized training, mentoring, and the transfer of good practices.
Our solution is better than traditional trainings or fragmented initiatives,
because it creates a comprehensive, ongoing support system that is embedded in the region, driven by experienced partners, and tailored to real local needs—ensuring a practical, lasting impact on the food economy of both regions.
