On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the Local Energy Agency Pomurje held a regional event as part of the EnerTy project, which was attended by organizations and institutions from Pomurje that regularly encounter the issue of energy poverty in their work. Participants learned about the progress of the project itself, and especially about the findings of the analysis of the state of energy poverty in the region and beyond. They also learned about the concept and situation regarding transport poverty, and especially as part of the final discussion, they started a conversation about defining measures to prevent and eliminate energy poverty, which will be part of the set of measures available for the purpose of placing them in the strategic documents of public organizations.<\/p>\n

The common challenge addressed by the project through cross-border cooperation is to improve the knowledge and awareness of decision-makers, and to increase cooperation between decision-makers and the end users, in the field of prevention and elimination of household energy poverty.<\/p>\n
