During the programme, participants had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the various sectors of local tourism, including gastronomy, wellness and accommodation services and cultural programmes.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the professional programme, the hosts presented the region\u2019s long-term development strategy, which aims to make the area one of the most liveable regions in Europe by 2040. In addition, participants were introduced to several examples of sustainable development initiatives, such as the \u201cWheat from Vulkanland\u201d and the \u201cInnovation Award\u201d programmes, both of which are designed to strengthen the local economy and foster innovation.
