The aim of the platform is to enable tourism businesses and service providers <strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp; measure their own level of sustainability in accordance with the international criteria of<\/strong> the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council).<\/p>\n<p>The tool is not just a one-off questionnaire: the system <strong>&nbsp;also offers a complex quality management solution<\/strong> that provides objective feedback on, for example,&nbsp; the <strong>accessibility level <\/strong>of&nbsp; the given service, <strong>its family-friendly nature<\/strong>, and how <strong>pet-friendly<\/strong> or <strong>cyclist-friendly<\/strong> a business is.<\/p>\n<p>The assessment <strong>can be downloaded in PDF format<\/strong> and repeated from time to time, so that interested parties can easily track their own progress. Those who want to publicly present their sustainability efforts <strong>&nbsp;will receive an internal dashboard interface and an opportunity to introduce themselves on the platform after<\/strong> free registration.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to emphasize that the I-DEST certification system <strong>is an information tool compiled on the basis of international standards<\/strong>, not <strong>an official trademark<\/strong> or certificate.
