On 16 July 2026, the Hegyp\u00e1sztor Cellars in Oszk\u00f3 hosted the professional event entitled \u201cPast in Our Hands, Future in Our Forms\u201d. Organised within the framework of the C4F-ELEVATE project, the event focused on the relationship between craftsmanship and sustainable tourism, as well as tourism initiatives in the Slovenian\u2013Hungarian border region. It brought together Hungarian and Slovenian tourism professionals, project representatives, local development actors and representatives of community initiatives.
\nThe professional event also provided an opportunity to present RE-ACTION \u2013 Developing Rural Tourism in the Slovenian\u2013Hungarian Border Region. Barna Kov\u00e1cs, Project Manager at the Vas County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, introduced the project\u2019s structure, objectives, activities and progress achieved so far.
\nThe event also offered opportunities to establish new professional contacts and strengthen dialogue between the participating projects.
\nOne of the key conclusions of the professional event was that craftsmanship, local stories, gastronomic traditions and community initiatives can be transformed into authentic tourism experiences through effective cooperation.
\nThis approach is closely aligned with the objectives of RE-ACTION, which aims to contribute to the development of a more visible, coordinated and sustainable Slovenian\u2013Hungarian tourism region.<\/p>\n<\/div>
