The rural tourism development of the Slovenian-Hungarian cross-border region

For rural tourism entrepreneurs, SMEs, and local stakeholders in Pomurje, Vas and Zala counties
who need greater visibility, stronger cooperation, and a sustainable, future-oriented approach to rural tourism,
we develop and implement a cross-border Rural Tourism Vision supported by a Slovenian–Hungarian Academy of Rural Tourism, a joint communication campaign, and hands-on pilot actions.
With our help, they can build cooperation across borders, combine slow, active, and digital-detox tourism offers, improve business skills, and jointly access domestic and international markets.
Our solution is better than isolated, short-term tourism initiatives
because it creates a shared long-term vision, strengthens knowledge transfer, boosts visibility through unified promotion, and delivers an adaptable model for sustainable rural tourism development.
