Invitation to the G-rajski festival in frame of operation Sosed k sosedu

We kindly invite you to G-rajski festival / G-FEST , International Festival of Nature Film and Sustainable Development Awareness Raising, which will be held from 24th until 26th May 2012, in castle Grad, Goričko, Slovenia. The Festival will be organized in frame of the operation with the acronym Sosed k Sosedu. G-FEST is a cultural bound between Porabje and Goričko regions, between film and nature, between people and landscape. It is dedicated to nature films in all of their diversity and technical expressiveness. The film program will be complemented by numerous accompanying events. The main theme of the festival as a whole will be raising the awareness of sustainable development. Notice of the abolishment of the GOSP

We would like to inform you that in accordance with the provisions of the Act of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia (Zakon o Vladi Republike Slovenije – ZVRS-F) the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy (GOSP) has been abolished. The areas of work connected to the European Cohesion Policy and to regional development were taken over by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology (http://www.mgrt.gov.si).

Kick-off event of the project »!Naprej-!Előre«

On 12 October 2011, the kick-off event of the project “!Naprej-!Előre” was organized in the Hotel Diana in Murska Sobota. The project was approved within the 2nd Call for proposal of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Hungary for the programming period 2007-2013. The institute Zavod Naprej participates within the project as a lead partner and Regionális Szociális Forrásközpont Nonprofit Kft. as a partner. The purpose of the project is to provide programs and services that will contribute to a better quality of life for people with acquired brain injury, to exchange experiences between partners and to raise awareness of the general public on the prevention of risks in the field of acquired brain injury. New Instructions for users of the Data entry module – MVP (ISARR) issued

We would like to notify the users of the ISARR-system that, due to the transition to the new Single Entry Point (SEP), through which the usage of the process of implementation (DEM – Data Entry Module) is made possible in a single environment or better by a Single Entry Point, a new version of the Instructions for users of the Data entry module – DEM (ISARR) was published. With the development of a Single Entry Point, the user is able to access all applications with a single log on and to access all processes in one place. The technical and graphical standardization of all processes in a modern web technology enables users to work faster and more transparently in the information system ISARR. The published instructions are intended for users of the Data entry module – DEM (ISARR) for reporting, on the basis of progress or final reports, on the execution of operations that are part-financed by the European Union. Workshop for beneficiaries on reporting

Beneficiaries of the approved projects within the 2nd Call for proposals OP SI-HU 2007-2013 are invited to attend the workshop on reporting for Hungarian lead and project partners on 29 September 2011 in Zalaegerszeg, Kamarák Háza (8900 Zalaegerszeg, Petőfi u. 24.) starting at 10.00 a.m.; Due to limited number of available spaces, beneficiaries are requested that only two (2 ) representatives of each lead and each project partner will attend the workshops. Attendance shall be confirmed at latest on 27. September 2011 on the JTS email jts-si-hu.svlr@gov.si by stating also the acronym of the relevant project.

Signing of subsidy contracts for projects approved within the 2. Call for proposals

Lendava, 6th September 2011 – The Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy (GOSP) acting as Managing Authority for Operational Programme Slovenia-Hungary 2007-2013, today organized a signing ceremony of the subsidy contracts approved within the 2. Call for proposals in the frame of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Hungary 2007–2013. The signing ceremony was attended from GOSP by Hermina Golob, director of Department for European Territorial Cooperation, on the event were also present representatives of the Managing Authority, programme partners and representatives of lead or project partners from each side of the border. GOSP has been entrusted with the role of Managing Authority for the cross-border co-operation with Hungary for the period 2007–2013. This is an acknowledgement of its previous work, as well as a huge responsibility for effective implementation of the programme. In May 2010, GOSP issued the 2.Call for proposals for co-funding of projects from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the amount of EUR 14, 699.991,54. Applications could be submitted under two priorities. The first priority is Increase the attractiveness of the cooperation area (Development of joint tourist destination; Preservation and development of culture; Improvement of cross border traffic connections), while the second priority is Sustainable development (Regional development cooperation; Preventative health care; Environment protection and management; Efficient energy use). The co-financing applies to eligible expenditures only. The Community co-funding from the ERDF can amount to the maximum of 85% of the public funding. The eligible programme area includes Pomurje and Podravje regions in Slovenia and Vas and Zala counties in Hungary. Following the administrative compliance, eligibility check and quality assessment, the decision to approve the projects was adopted by the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Hungary 2007–2013 at its regular meeting held on 02 and 03 March 2011. The Joint Monitoring Committee is composed of representatives of the two participating countries. It conditionally approved a co-financing of 22 projects, 11 within the first priority and 11 within the second priority. Today the Subsidy contracts were signed only by the Lead partners of the projects that fulfilled all conditions till this day. At the end of the event two projects, already successfully implementing in the frame of the 1. Call for proposals, were presented: from the first priority “Doživetje panonske gastronomije” and from the 2. Priority “Krajina v harmoniji”. Photo gallery

Ceremonial signing of Subsidy Contracts for approved operations within the 2nd Call for proposals

The Government Office of the Republic Slovenia for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy, acting as Managing Authority, organizes a ceremonial signing of Subsidy Contracts for approved operations in the frame of the 2nd Call for proposals of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Hungary 2007-2013 on 6th September, Tuesday, at 10 o’clock in City Hall of Municipality Lendava, Glavna ulica 20, Lendava, Slovenia. Representatives of Managing Authority, programme partners, Lead Partner and project partners will attend the event. The Government Office of the Republic Slovenia for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy published the 2nd Call for proposals in 2010. In frame of the call an amount of 14.699.991,54 EUR was available from the European Regional Development Fund for cofinancing activities related to increase the attractiveness of the cooperation area and sustainable development.
