On 27 September 2026, the second day of the first HOUSES to go event weekend, the Hungarian and Slovenian locations of the Country Houses Route will welcome visitors with programmes focusing on architectural heritage and traditions. Visitors can discover folk architecture, historic buildings and rural heritage through guided visits, thematic presentations and active exploration programmes. The programmes offer an insight into architectural features shaped by the landscape and local ways of life, while several locations will also complement the experience with local flavours and gastronomic elements. Sunday therefore offers a varied combination of cultural, community and active experiences, bringing the built heritage and traditions of the Hungarian–Slovenian border region closer to visitors.
