One of the important professional results of the project was the preparation of a list of native and traditional plants (species list), compiled by the University of Pannonia. The document systematizes and presents the elements of the plant heritage of the Hungarian-Slovenian border region that are relevant to the objectives of the project.

Register of native or traditional plants in the cross-border area (HU)
The purpose of the species list is to present those plant species that have adapted to local environmental conditions over a long period of time and play an important role in the conservation of biodiversity. The list provides a professional basis that supports the strengthening of sustainable farming practices and the more conscious use of local values.
The compiled material affects several groups of plants, including herbs, herbs, vegetables, fruit species and grains. These species are not only ecologically valuable, but also closely linked to the traditions and gastronomy of the region.
The species list is also an important basis for further activities of the project: some of the selected plants will be planted in the experimental learning gardens, while other species will be used to design biodiversity-friendly joint products. The compilation of the species list contributes to the professional foundation of the project and helps to ensure that further developments – the design of gardens and product development – are carried out consciously, building on local conditions.
