Experience the night as it once was. When the world grows quiet and the stars begin to shine, a space opens for unique and inspiring experiences.

From 3 to 5 September 2026, partnership of the KeepItDark project invites you to the Svetla stran noči (Bright Side of Night) festival, a unique three-day event that explores the value of natural darkness through art, culture, nature, and knowledge while promoting the preservation of dark night skies.

At various locations across the Pomurje region, visitors can enjoy expert lectures, bat and stargazing activities organised as part of the KeepItDark project, as well as creative workshops, a forest bathing experience, a literary evening, an open-air cinema, a sensory culinary experience, and a closing concert beneath the stars. The festival invites everyone to rediscover darkness as a space for peace, creativity, and a genuine connection with nature.
