On Saturday, 5 September 2026, partnership of KeepItDark project concluded the Bright Side of Night festival with an evening of stargazing in Budinci. Guided by Bojan Jandrašič, we explored the mysteries of the universe and discovered the importance of preserving dark night skies.
On Friday, 4 September 2026, partnership of KeepItDark project celebrated International Bat Night at Fokovci Primary School. Through a lecture and evening bat watching and listening, visitors discovered the fascinating lives of bats and the importance of their conservation.

As part of the KeepItDark project, parter of the project Goričko Nature Park Public Institute expanded the open days of the exhibition PreŽiveti z netopirji (Living with Bats) for the first time this year.
