55 interviews for the Rural Tourism Vision
Between April and the end of June 2026, the five RE-ACTION project partners conducted 55 in-depth interviews with rural tourism providers in Pomurje, Vas and Zala counties.

RE-ACTION joined the C4F-ELEVATE professional event in Oszkó, where Hungarian and Slovenian participants explored how crafts, local initiatives and cooperation can strengthen sustainable rural tourism.
First Steps Towards the Rural Tourism Vision
The first major professional outcome of the RE-ACTION project will be a joint, cross-border Rural Tourism Vision, providing long-term direction for tourism stakeholders in the Slovenian–Hungarian border region. This vision builds on the opportunities of slow, active, and digital detox tourism, aiming for sustainable development based on cooperation.
