A total of 20 Hungarian and 20 Slovenian tourism companies have started preparing to obtain the Good Travel Seal sustainability certification within the framework of the CROSSDEST Slovenian-Hungarian INTERREG project.

The professional management of the process is carried out by Good Place, responsible for the Slovenia Green program, and Innotime Hungary Kft. is involved on the Hungarian side.

In the project, employees of tourism companies and attractions in Lendava and Mureszombat can acquire the necessary knowledge through personal workshops. In Hungary, service providers in Sárvár, Hévíz and the Balaton Uplands will participate in the preparation through personal workshops and an individual mentoring program.

The special feature of the program is that an online e-learning platform will also support the forty participating companies from the end of October. The joint development of Innotime Hungary and Good Place will be available in Hungarian, English and Slovenian, thus ensuring flexible learning opportunities.

At the end of the project, there will be an opportunity for a joint exchange of ideas, as participants will be able to learn about sustainable cross-border tourism good practices in a field exercise.
