Within the framework of the Crossdest international tourism project, a free sustainability self-monitoring tool is now available to anyone on the I-DEST platform. The aim of the platform is to enable tourism businesses and service providers  to  measure their own level of sustainability in accordance with the international criteria of the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council).

The tool is not just a one-off questionnaire: the system  also offers a complex quality management solution that provides objective feedback on, for example,  the accessibility level of  the given service, its family-friendly nature, and how pet-friendly or cyclist-friendly a business is.

The assessment can be downloaded in PDF format and repeated from time to time, so that interested parties can easily track their own progress. Those who want to publicly present their sustainability efforts  will receive an internal dashboard interface and an opportunity to introduce themselves on the platform after free registration.

It is important to emphasize that the I-DEST certification system is an information tool compiled on the basis of international standards, not an official trademark or certificate. If someone wants to obtain an official certification in the above topics, we recommend that they contact the certification bodies of the given field.
