The GoGreen program in Sárvár has been launched, which is an online campaign encouraging sustainable travel. The aim of the project is to encourage tourists arriving in the spa town to spend their holidays in a “greener” way through various marketing solutions. The first social media posts are already live, and the preparatory work for the gamification application that will be developed as part of the project is also underway.

The GoGreen application will be a point-collecting platform that will offer tourists visiting Sárvár the opportunity to collect points for their environmentally conscious activities. These points can then be exchanged for service discounts or gifts later.

The aim of the campaign is to encourage visitors to Sárvár in a playful way to pay as much attention to environmental protection and sustainability as possible during their trip.

The first awareness-raising activities of the Interreg VI-A Slovenia-Hungary Programme, Call for Proposals 4300-1/2023, project part SIHU00138/PP6, with the short title “CROSSDEST”, are now available. The first blog posts and community content can be read on the social media platforms of Sárvár Tourist & TDM Nonprofit Kft. and on the sarvar.hu website. Which not only simply draw attention to the importance of sustainable tourism, but also serve as a kind of “collection of tips”. These awareness-raising materials will also be included in the monthly newsletter of the Sárvári TDM, and a photo series and video activities are also expected soon.
