On Saturday, 25 July 2026, Babič Mill on the Island of Love in Ižakovci will become the setting for a lively summer gathering. The From Mill to Mill project partnership will organise the Summer Games at the Babič Mill, bringing together entertaining team challenges, local products, music, folklore and socialising beside the Mura River.
The programme will begin at 12:00 with a fair of local producers and service providers, followed by the official opening. The event will also present the cross-border cooperation developed through the From Mill to Mill project and the museum network of mills in Slovenia and Hungary. Visitors will be able to watch an obstacle course and boat-building challenge, rowing across the river and a water-splashing game, accompanied by performances by Duo Mystica, Miha Balažič, Matjaž Ograjenšek, Künštni Prleki and the Apače Folklore Group.
Admission is free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. The programme will continue until 20:00.
