Within the C4F-ELEVATE project, a professional event entitled “Craftsmanship as a Driver of Sustainable Tourism” will take place on 16 July 2026 at Hegypásztor Pincék in Oszkó, Hungary.

The event will present practical examples of integrating craft products, knowledge and stories into sustainable tourism. Participants will discover regional rural tourism initiatives, cooperation between craftspeople, tourism providers, museums and local communities, open-door programmes, slow tourism and the emerging C4F-ELEVATE digital platform.

Experts from regional development, tourism and cultural organisations will share their experience, followed by a discussion on future cross-border cooperation. The event is intended for craftspeople, tourism and cultural professionals, development organisations, local communities and everyone interested in heritage-based sustainable tourism.
