On 11 April, 2023, the “EU in my school” initiative started the program with the last of the participating schools. Mateja Huber from Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota visited the sixth grade pupils of Sveti Jurij Primary School. On the web portal of e-documenta Pannonica, they viewed some examples of material from the local area, such as a bronze collar from prehistoric times. In preparation for the visit to the museum, they also looked through photos of the castle equipment of Mursko Sobota Castle.

On 12 April, 2023, the pupils of Sveti Jurij Primary School visited the Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota. On the permanent exhibition they attended a lesson about castles in Prekmurje, during which they took a look at some of the objects that they viewed on the online portal of the e-documenta Pannonica. At the workshop, they created their own personal coat of arms on canvas bags. The meeting ended with a walk on stilts in the castle courtyard.

On 17 April, 2023, the last part of the program within »EU in my school« initiative took place at Sveti Jurij Primary School. The sixth graders were visited by the writer Norma Bale, who explained on the interesting way to the pupils how to create a story. At the workshop, the pupils created a story in a book, in which they expressed their impressions and experiences in the “EU in my school” initiative in a playful and creative way.
