The Open call for proposals for standard projects in the Interreg programme Slovenia-Hungary for the programming period 2021-2027 has been published at the beginning of March this year.

Until the first submission deadline, which closed on 8 May 2023, 23 standard project proposals were submitted. Following the assessment of the applications received, 11 standard projects were selected by the Programme’s Monitoring Committee on 11-12 September 2023.

The projects with acronyms PollenAct and RISKHUB II. were selected in the frame of Priority 1 – Green border region.

The projects with acronyms EXP Castles, Messages, ICDM and From Mill to Mill were selected in the frame of Priority 2 – Inclusive border region based on sustainable tourism.

The projects with acronyms Right Skills 4U, In2Local, EnerTy, Keep Young and Fit and GutS were selected in the frame of Priority 3 – Cooperating border region.

All selected projects received conditions from the Monitoring Committee to be fulfilled during the contracting phase but not later than the signature of the ERDF subsidy contract. The approved standard projects involve 23 Slovenian and 25 Hungarian project partners.

The second deadline for the submission of standard project proposals is 19 January 2024 before noon. The members of the Monitoring Committee decided to suspend the submission of standard project proposals into Priority 3/Interreg specific objective 3.1, due to lack of available funds.
