We are happy to announce that we can meet also this year in the framework of the Interreg Cooperation Day.
New Open Call will be launched this autumn
At its 6th meeting in June 2025, the Monitoring Committee of the Slovenia-Hungary Interreg Programme together with approval of nine new standard projects also decided to close the currently running Open Call for proposals for standard projects and launched new Open call this autumn. The deadline for submission of applications under the new call is expected to be the second half of January 2026.

Successfully Conducted Clean-Up Action in Motvarjevci along the Kobiljski Stream
Within the Aquanature project, a clean-up action along the Kobiljski Stream was successfully carried out, contributing to a cleaner environment and raising awareness about the importance of protecting aquatic ecosystems.
First Steps Towards the Rural Tourism Vision
The first major professional outcome of the RE-ACTION project will be a joint, cross-border Rural Tourism Vision, providing long-term direction for tourism stakeholders in the Slovenian–Hungarian border region. This vision builds on the opportunities of slow, active, and digital detox tourism, aiming for sustainable development based on cooperation.
Cleaning Action in Motvarjevci
As part of the Aquanature project, a cleaning action will take place on Saturday, 21 March 2026 at 8:00 in Motvarjevci. The activity will focus on local waterways and invites all residents and volunteers to join.
HOUSES to go – I. Activation event – Country houses in cooperation: ideas and opportunities
As part of the "HOUSES to go" project, two activation events will be held with the aim of preparing for the project's thematic pilot events and strengthening joint planning and cooperation with country houses.
HOUSES to go: Tradition and digital presence hand in hand
As part of the HOUSES to go project, the second stage of the practical workshop series entitled "Communication and marketing in the practice of country houses" was successfully completed on February 24, 2026.
New Cooperation Established with Primary School I Murska Sobota
A new partnership has been established between the Develoment Centre Murska Sobota and Primary School I Murska Sobota in the frame of the project PollenAct, creating opportunities for students to explore the world of nature, pollinators, and the richness of biodiversity.
