Cooperation programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Hungary


Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A Slovenia – Hungary is the main document setting out the framework for the cross-border cooperation of the Slovenia and Hungary in the financial perspective 2014-2020.


The programme will operate on the basis of the Open Call system.


Web eMSThe eMS is a monitoring system with communication portal to support submission, approval, management and administration of the projects and the Programme.

The preparations for the Interreg Programme Slovenia-Hungary 2021-2027 began in the autumn of 2019 with setting up a Programming Task Force. Also in the 2021-2027 programming period, the programme will be managed by the Slovene Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy (GODC) acting as Managing Authority and Joint Secretariat in close cooperation with representatives of both Member States, Slovenia and Hungary.

It belongs to Cross-border programmes, which are classified as strand A. In the financial period 2014-2020 the funds available for co-financing are in the total amount of 13,295,015.00 EUR ERDF.

Decision on projects postponed

On the program Interreg V-A Slovenia-Hungary was not approved any project, which means that the members of the Monitoring Committee did not reach consensus on the approval / postponement / rejection / putting on the reserve list of projects received within the second deadline. The decision on the projects will be reached at the next ad hoc meeting of the Monitoring Committee, which will take place on 16 January 2017.

34 out of 43 project applications received within the second deadline for submission are administratively eligible

The result of the administrative check, which was performed and finished are 34 projects that comply with the administrative and eligibility criteria.
