In the frame of the 6th meeting of the Monitoring Committee (MC), which took place on 23rd March 2018 in Gosztola, Hungary, the members of the MC approved projects that were submitted within the 4th deadline. Approved projects are part of the mosaic of successful integration of the common border area, whereby partners on both sides of the border successfully cooperate, thereby preserving and promoting the rich natural and cultural heritage of the border area.

In the frame of the 4th deadline of the Open Call, 18 project applications were submitted. At the meeting the members of the MC discussed the 10 project applications that were administratively compliant and eligible assessed for quality. At the meeting, 4 project proposals were approved, 1 project proposal was postponed and 5 project proposals were rejected.

The ERDF Subsidy contracts are foreseen to be signed with the Lead Partners of the approved projects in June 2018.

Within the 1st Priority axis, 2 projects in the value of 1.154.633,60 EUR ERDF were approved, namely:

  •          ETHOS LAND
  •          Szőlőhegyi Piknik/Piknik v vinogradu

Within the 2nd Priority axis, also 2 projects in the value of 688.803,052 ERDF were approved, namely:

  • Folk Music Heritage
  • Green Line

Within the first, second, third and fourth deadline of the Open Call, funds in the amount of approx. 11,4 million EUR ERDF or about 86,2% of all available programme funds will be contracted.
