On Wednesday, 9 November, 2022, the Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota extended cooperation in the “EU in my school” initiative across the border. The curator of the Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota visited bilingual schools in Števanovci and Gornji Senik in Hungary and presented the online portal e-documenta Pannonica to the pupils. On the portal they viewed some material from their place.
On Friday, 2 December 2, 2022, a group of pupils from two schools in Porabje, Hungary, visited the Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota as part of the “EU in my school” initiative. Pupils of Bilingual Primary School Števanovci and Bilingual Primary School Jožef Kosič Gornji Senik saw live some of the objects they had already learned about on the online portal of the e-documenta Pannonica. They explored life in castles and the life of the nobility. At the creative workshop, each pupils made their own coat of arms and drew it on a bag.
On Thursday, February 23, 2023, the last meeting of the “EU in my school” initiative took place at two bilingual schools in Hungary. The 7th and 8th grade pupils at Bilingual Primary School Jožef Košič Gornji Senik and Bilingual Primary School Števanovci were visited by the writer Norma Bale, accompanied by the curator of the Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota. The pupils participated in a storytelling workshop and created a book with a story about their experiences of the project e-documenta Pannonica and the “EU in my school” initiative.
